Sydney to Ariah 20th
April 2018
Today is the day we head off on our trip for 2018 out of the
house by 7am as we did not want to get caught with the traffic in our street
with all the building happening at this time.
Tim & Amanda left with us as they are heading to Griffith for a few
days to visit friends.
We are to meet Robin & Pete at Pheasant Nest around 9am
as we were heading there we got a phone call from them to say they had missed
the turn into the service station so now the plan is to meet them at Suttons
forest McDonalds. We arrived there at
9am had a tea and chat before venturing back on the road.
We decided to have lunch at Wallendbeen rest stop 12:00
great little place clean toilets and some picnic tables there Tim caught up
with us had their lunch and then we all headed off to Temora and arriving there
at 2pm found the Rural Museum paid $27.00 to go to this one and Aviation Museum
so by the time we left this Museum and got to the other one it was 3:30 and we
had to do a quick walk around as it closed at 4pm.
We head out of town and made our way to Ariah as Chris &
Mary decided this was better to stay than Mirrool arrived there 4:45pm Tim left
us there and went on, After setting up van and Robing & Pete where
organised we drove into town not that far and had dinner at the pub back to the
van by 8pm and into bed .
